Naturopathic Education and Training
Licensed Naturopathic physicians receive their clinical training from accredited four-
year post-graduate medical schools. Admission requirements and course of study are
similar to
those of conventional medical schools.

In Addition, naturopathic therapeutics such as clinical nutrition, botanical medicine,
homeopathy, hydrotherapy,natural childbirth, naturopathic manipulative therapy,
and oriental medicine are studied throughout the period of clinical training.
Clinical training begins after the first year of study, at private
community
and
health clinics, under the direct supervision of licensed physicians.
